It's 3 AM. Do you know where your email is?
"Is Your RAP Mail Getting Delivered To Your Customers?"
You may or may not know it, but it's quite possibly not.
Dear Fellow RAP User:
This, of course, is not really the fault of the script itself. Instead, many hosting companies impose a requirement on mail that it be sent in an authorized fashion. This covers their butts by blocking random spammers from using their system for mass junk mailings.
I experienced this restriction myself, and it was very frustrating. What's worse, at first, I didn't even realize there was a problem!
You see, my initial testing with fake users involved only accounts within my own domain. My web host didn't care about those. So, here I was, happily receiving emails. Everything looked good, until...
I tried, quite accidentally, one of my other email accounts. Nothing. Not in the spam folder, not in the trash, nowhere. Ugh.
After checking with others on the forum and ensuring it was not a bug, I called my hosting company to report the issue. As they say in the programming biz, "Functioning As Designed."
Well, thankfully, I am a programmer by trade, so I could handle it. A little delay in launching my first product, but I eventually got it worked out.
Let Me Save You The Time And Headache!
